Jakarta, (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Suahasil Nazara as minister of finance, replacing Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, during a reshuffle of the Red and White Cabinet at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (Sept. 14).
"Before taking the oath of office regarding your appointment as minister of finance of the Red and White Cabinet for the remainder of the 2024–2029 term, I must first ask you: are you willing to take the oath according to the Christian faith?" President Prabowo asked while administering the oath of office to Suahasil during the inauguration ceremony.
"Before God, I pledge that I will remain loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will strictly observe all laws and regulations in the fulfillment of my duty to the nation and the state," Suahasil said while reciting the oath after President Prabowo.
