
Waqf agency distributes 20,000 copies of Al-Quran to C. Java, Yogyakarta

The Quran Waqf Agency (BWA) has provided 20,000 copies of Al-Quran in the Al-Quran waqf distribution project for Indonesia’s provinces of Central Java and Yogyakarta.
Grobogan, C Java (Indonesia Window) – The Quran Waqf Agency (BWA) has provided 20,000 copies of Al-Quran in the Al-Quran waqf distribution project for Indonesia’s provinces of Central Java and Yogyakarta.A press release from the BWA made available for Indonesia Window said here on Thursday,The copies were distributed on Wednesday (June 5) to nine districts/cities in the provinces of Central Java and Yogyakarta.A ceremony handing over the copies was held at the campus of the Muhammadiyah Grobogan Institute of Technology and Business (ITB-MG), which is also a cooperation partner in this project.The event was attended by the Rector of ITB-MG, Jati Purnomo, as well as representatives from the BWA, including Director of BWA Networking Hazairin Hasan.In his remarks, Hazairin Hasan expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and support from ITB-MG."We are very grateful to the ITB-MG campus for this good collaboration. This synergy is very helpful for the BWA in distributing the Quran waqf on target," he said.Meanwhile, the Rector of ITB-MG, H. Jati Purnomo, also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the BWA for the trust given to his campus."We are very grateful for the BWA's trust to synergize in this project. This is in line with our campus mission in community service and improving the religious life of the community. Hopefully in the future we can continue to work together," he said.The ceremonial event was also attended by community leaders, administrators of the Quran Education Park (TPQ), and various other Islamic institutions.The participants welcomed this initiative and hoped that this activity could become a charity that continues to flow.The BWA also expressed its gratitude to the waqif and the field partner team including the ITB-MG campus, the Salatiga Peduli community, ISN and Insan Karima Yogya.The BWA invites all levels of society to support this Quran waqf project so that more and more people would feel the benefits.
