
Indonesia’s Islamic Boarding School facilitates first exam for Sudanese students

The opening ceremony of the first exam for Sudanese students who cannot yet return to their homeland due to the ongoing conflict took place at the Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia's Depok city, West Java province.
Bogor, W Java (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia’s Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School, located in Indonesia's Depok city, West Java province, has facilitated the opening ceremony of the first exam for Sudanese university students who cannot yet return to their homeland due to the ongoing conflict.A written statement from Al-Wafi received here on Sunday stated that in addition to Sudanese university students, the exam was also attended by those from various countries in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, as well as those from China.In addition to Indonesia, the first exam was held simultaneously in several representative countries, namely Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, and Comoros.The Sudanese Ambassador to Indonesia, Dr. Yasir Muhammad Ali Muhammad, attended the opening ceremony for the first exam, along with the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the International University of Africa (IUA) and the official delegation of the Examination Center in Indonesia, Dr. Abu Bakar Ali Bakheit.The Founder of the Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Dr. Ali Saman Hasan, the Chairman of the Al Wafi Foundation, Dr. Marullah Marzuq, and the teachers of the Islamic boarding school were also present at the event.The opening ceremony of the first exam marked important steps in the effort to continue education for Sudanese students in Indonesia, while strengthening relations between the two countries in the field of education.Reporting by Indonesia WindowBagikan
