Russia’s Security Council Secregary, Sergei K. Shoigu, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, received Russia’s Security Council Secretary, Sergei K. Shoigu, during the latter’s courtesy call at the Merdeka Palace, in capital Jakarta, Tuesday.The visit of Russia’s Security Council Secretary emphasized the commitment of Indonesia and Russia to strengthen strategic partnerships, especially in the fields of security and defense, as well as opening wider opportunities for future cooperation.The moment also further strengthened the close relationship between the two countries in creating regional stability and mutually beneficial strategic cooperation.The visit became an important momentum in strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and Russia, according to a written statement from the Indonesian Cabinet Secretariat as quoted by Indonesia Window.Sergei K. Shoigu and his delegation who arrived at the Merdeka Palace at around 12.30 local time were greeted among others by Indonesia’s Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi and Commander of the Indonesian Aarmed Forces Agus Subiyanto.Reporting by Indonesia WindowBagikan
