UAE offers condolences over victims of fuel depot fire in Indonesia

It was reported that 18 people have died in the fire engulfing a fuel depot belonging to Indonesia’s state-owned oil/gas company Pertamina. The conflagration occurred on Friday (March 3) at around 8 p.m. local time.

 

Jakarta (Indonesia Window/WAM) — The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed its sincere condolences and solidarity with the Republic of Indonesia over the victims of the fuel depot fire in the capital, Jakarta, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of people.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of Indonesia and to the families of the victims of this tragedy, as well as its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

It was reported that 18 people have died in the conflagration of a fuel depot belonging to the state-owned oil/gas company Pertamina, that occurred on Friday (March 3) at around 8 p.m. local time.

The fire was extinguished at early this morning on Saturday (March 4).
