Indonesia participating in 2023 FHA Food & Beverage Exhibition

The 2023 FHA Food & Beverage Exhibition, which is one of the largest international food and beverage product exhibitions in the Asian region, is taking place on April 25-28, 2023.

 

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, in collaboration with Indonesia’s central bank, Bank Indonesia, and the Indonesian Trade Attaché Office in Singapore, is participating in the 2023 FHA Food & Beverage Exhibition at the Singapore Expo, Singapore.

The 2023 FHA Food & Beverage Exhibition, which is one of the largest international food and beverage product exhibitions in the Asian region, is taking place on April 25-28, 2023, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a written statement on Wednesday.

The 2023 FHA Food & Beverage Exhibition was officially opened on Tuesday (April 25), the by Singapore’s Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth, Alvin Tan.

The Indonesian Pavilion at this year’s FHA exhibition features 14 MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprise) exporters of food and beverage products, who are ready to compete in the global market.

The Indonesian Pavilion was officially opened on April 25 by Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore Suryo Pratomo, accompanied by the Indonesian Trade Attaché in Singapore, Billy Anugrah, and the Head of the Bank Indonesia Office in Singapore, Anastuty Kusumowardhani.

The products showcased in the events include snacks made from tempe (soybean cake) and ready-to-drink herbal products.

In 2022, Indonesia’s food and beverage industries grew by 4.93 percent, and became the largest contributor to the non-oil and non-gas processing industries’ GDP of 38.35 percent.

In the same year, Indonesia’s exports of food and beverage products also significantly increased by 17.6 percent to more than 44 billion U.S. dollars.

In this year’s event, Indonesia expects to score a 12 percent increase in potential transactions from that obtained at the 2021 FHA exhibition.
