Indonesia, Solomon Islands sign futsal field development grant

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia and the Solomon Islands have signed an agreement framework on development cooperation and a grant agreement on the Development of a Multifunctional Futsal Field towards the 2023 Pacific Games in the Pacific country.

The cooperation documents were signed on the sidelines of the 12th Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) in Nusa Dua on Thursday, as quoted from the Indonesian Foreign Ministry’s website.

On that occasion, Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi held a bilateral meeting with Solomon Islands Foreign Affairs Minister and Trade Jeremiah Manele.

The Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister expressed her appreciation for the participation of the Solomon Islands in the BDF for the first time.

The Solomon Islands delegation was led by a minister-level chair, reflecting the increasingly close friendship between the two countries.
