Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The number of complete doses of vaccine recipients in Indonesia reached 114.82 million as of Wednesday (Jan. 5), according to a report by the COVID-19 Task Force.

Data from the COVID-19 Task Force received here on Wednesday noted that the number of people who had received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccines as of Wednesday increased by 256,668, making the total number to 114,822,604 people.

Meanwhile, the number of first doses of vaccine recipients recorded on the same day was 572,376 people, bringing the total number to 167,226,243 people.

The data also showed 1,295,326 people in the archipelagic county had received the third doses of vaccinations.

The Indonesian government plans to vaccinate as many as 208,265,720 million people to gain herd immunity against the COVID-19.

With those figures, the injections of the first doses and the second doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been given to 80.29 percent and 55.13 percent of the total vaccination target, respectively.
