The number of floods victims in Indonesia’s provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra as of December 7, 2025 morning, was 916 deaths, 274 missing, and 4,200 injured.

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The National Disaster Management Agency (locally known as BNPB) reported that the number of flood victims in Indonesia’s provinces of Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra as of December 7, 2025 morning, was 916 deaths, 274 missing, and 4,200 injured.

In Aceh, the number of flood victims was 359 deaths, 94 missing, and 3,500 injured. In North Sumatra, 329 deaths, 82 missing, and 647 injured. In West Sumatra, 557 deaths, 180 missing, and 759 injured.

The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) also reported that 1,300 public facilities were damaged. The natural disaster damaged 199 health facilities, 697 educational facilities, 420 houses of worship, 234 buildings/offices, and 405 bridges.

The agency also reported that 105,900 houses were damaged. A total of 52 districts in the impacted areas were affected by the disaster.
