Indonesian, Chinese, Malaysian entrepreneurs sign MoA, promoting halal products in the region

The Memorandum of Agreement document among KPMI, Halal International (China Hong Kong Macau) Limited, and Tahira Air Sdn Bhd Malaysia, is a general framework for collaboration and cooperation in promoting halal products and services, covering ASEAN and China.
Tangerang, Banten (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community (locally known as its abbreviation KPMI), Halal International (China Hong Kong Macau) Limited, and Tahira Air Sdn Bhd Malaysia, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) document on the sidelines of the Muslim LifeFest 2024 here on Friday.Muslim LifeFest 2024 is being held simultaneously with two other events, namely Muslim EduFest and Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC), at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in Tangerang city, Banten province, from August 30 to September 1, 2024.The signing of the cooperation document was carried out after the launch of the ASEAN Halal Pavilion platform, which brings together halal producers and service providers from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand."Developing the halal economy and industry in the ASEAN region and the world requires collaboration and synergy among various parties, to produce concrete and actionable steps," the Head of Central KPMI, Rachmat Sutarnas Marpaung, said in his remarks at the launching event.The Memorandum of Agreement is a general framework that is expected to facilitate collaboration and cooperation activities among various parties who have common interests in the field of promoting halal products and services. The agreement covers the ASEAN countries and China.The document also mentions areas and methods of profitable collaboration with the three parties becoming sources of halal product and service trends from Indonesia and Malaysia.In addition, the three parties in the MoA are expected to jointly implement live events, marketing, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs; promote jointly and sustainably and build corporate awareness for each party; and share digital infrastructure, logistics and resources among the various parties.Reporting by Indonesia WindowBagikan
