Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Saudi Arabia has officially launched a special stamp themed the Riyadh Season entertainment festival, breaking a new Guinness world record as the largest one in the world.

Measuring 19.5 square meters, the stamp broke the record for the world’s largest specialty stamp on February 14.

Saudi Post, the authority that issued the special stamps, displayed them on Boulevard Riyadh City, one of the special zones in the Riyadh Season.

“By unveiling this stamp, the largest custom stamp in the world, we break the Walt Disney record, set in 2019,” Bandar Al-Toaimi, Saudi Post’s general manager of corporate communications told Arab News.

The Disney stamp, which commemorates Donald Duck’s 85th birthday anniversary, measuring about 13.4 square meters.

“These commemorative stamps represent a national or historical event,” he said, adding, “the stamps will remain in the memory and commemoration of the Riyadh Season and will not expire.”

Meanwhile, Saudi Post President Anif Abanmi said, “this stamp represents the imagination that the Saudis have; imagine more, imagine bigger.”

The special stamp celebrating the Riyadh Season was introduced in 2019 and has become one of the biggest events in the Saudi entertainment calendar.

The stamp’s design includes winter wonderland scenery, Riyadh Season logo, hot air balloons, fountains, race cars and fireworks.
