Saudi Arabia, Indonesia sign agreement on 2020 Hajj season

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Minister of Hajj and Umrah Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten has signed an agreement on the implementation of Hajj in 1441 Hijri/2020 with the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia Fachrul Razi.

The agreement relates to the services and facilities provided to pilgrims upon arrivals in the Holy Land, and the conditions that apply to them when performing rituals, Arab News reported as quoted by Indonesia Window here on Wednesday.

Minister Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten said in a press statement that all Saudis proudly served Hajj pilgrims and visitors.

The effort to serve the pilgrims is in line with the direction of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

In addition to Indonesia, the Saudi Hajj and Umrah Minister also signed an agreement on the implementation of the 2020 Hajj season with Head of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ali Arbash dan Jordanian Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites Ahmed Ahmad Al Khalayleh.
