“As we are approaching the holy month of Ramadan, the needs of Muslim families are expected to increase. The presence of Muslim LifeFair is hopefully to be a momentum for Muslim families to fulfill their fasting and Eid needs. So during the holy month, Muslim communities can focus on worship,” Lima Event General Manager, Ilham Pradipta, said at a conference press of the Muslim LifeFair 2024 and the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference (JHEC) 2024, here on Wednesday.

According to him, before Ramadan there is usually an imbalance between supply and demand, as well as an increase in prices of basic commodities, while household needs will increase until Eid al-Fitr arrives.

“This year’s Muslim LifeFair, God willing, can be a shopping place to meet needs ahead of Ramadhan and Eid,” Ilham said, adding that by shopping for family needs before Ramadan arrives, Muslim families could hopefully carry out their worship optimally throughout the holy month.

Meanwhile, KPMI’s Secretary General Lucky Cahyo stated that Muslim LifeFair is a manifestation of the fourth pillar of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneur Community (KPMI), namely supporting and helping the marketing of its members’ products.

“Muslim LifeFair is a B-to-C (Business to Consumer) event where buyers can directly buy products from sellers. Meanwhile the Jakarta Halal Expo and Conference or JHEC is a B-to-B (Business to Business) event in which transactions between buyers and sellers cannot be done directly, but rather through several schemes, such as the P.O. (purchasing order) system, agents, and others,” he explained.

Lucky continued to say that JHEC will hold business matching and a number of international conferences featuring many world-class speakers.
