Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (small and medium enterprises) has launched a platform, inaproduct.com, which is a product directory portal for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that is integrated with 800,000 business units of this group.
The website is a collaboration between the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of SOEs (state-owned enterprises), as well as business institutions of Smesco Indonesia, Sarinah, and Ina Produk Indonesia.
“The purpose of the Indonesian SME directory portal is to expand market access for MSMEs with on-boarding digital being a solution for marketing their products and making it easier for business actors to obtain information to conduct B2C (business to customer) and B2B (business to business) transactions,” the ministry’s Deputy for SMEs, Hanung Harimba, said in the launch on Thursday (Oct. 28).
This is expected to have a broad impact, especially in increasing national economic growth.
Inaproduct founder Budihardjo Iduansjah explained that this platform lists local SMEs’ products and brands, conducts incubator trainings, compiles business analysis, creates markets, and together with a number of startups build the platform ecosystem.
Through this platform, sellers and buyers from within and outside the country could meet to carry out business activities easily.
“We are targeting at least 5,550 large businesses, 4,400 medium-sized businesses, and 1,193 small businesses to be included. We will collect data throughout Indonesia,” said Budihardjo.
