Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia has made a number of advances in the development of nuclear technology, one of which is in the field of education by implementing the Internet Reactor Laboratory using distance learning method.
The method allows Kartini’s research reactor activities in Yogyakarta to be monitored live through the internet from the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, the Government News Network (JPP) said as quoted in Jakarta on Wednesday.
Monitoring of the research reactor has been exhibited for a week during the 63rd International Session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna on Monday (16/9).
The IAEA General Assembly is an annual conference since 1956 that is held for UN member states to determine the policy direction to ensure the use of energy and nuclear technology solely for peaceful purposes.
