Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia on Tuesday (Oct. 26) received 1 million doses of Sinovac vaccine from the Chinese government, marking the 100th stage of all vaccine arrivals in the country.
With the arrival of the 100th stage of the vaccine, the total number of vaccines against COVID-19 that has been received by Indonesia has reached 293,058,530 doses.
Of those, 153,900,280 doses arrived in bulk which were then processed into 125.4 million doses of ready-to-use vaccines. In addition, 139,158,250 doses were received by Indonesia in the form of ready-to-use vaccines.
The ready-to-use vaccines received by Indonesia consisted of 66,776,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine in ready-to-use form; AstraZeneca 33,456,030 doses; Sinopharm 8,450,000 doses; Moderna 8.000,160 doses; Pfizer 21,976,060 doses; and Janssen 500,000 doses.
Since October 15, 2021, the daily number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has been below 1,000 and the positive rate is below 1 percent.
