Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The arrival of a delegation from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Thursday (Sept. 21), marked a historic milestone in the journey of Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School in Indonesia towards becoming an international Islamic school.
“The visit of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is one of important moments in the history of Al Wafi. This is a clear proof that we have achieved a level of international recognition in the education sector,” the leader of Al-Wafi Islamic boarding school, KH. Dr. Ali Saman Hasan said.

The discussion between the two delegations focused on efforts to improve education through collaboration between the two institutions.
According to Dr. One of Ali, one of the goals is to make Al Wafi an international Islamic school that combines Islamic principles with higher education of international standard.
This meeting creates a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, experience and best practices in the education sector. The meeting included discussion of teaching methods, curriculum, higher education, language centers and educational research.
Through this meeting, Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School was able to interact directly with representatives from UKM, opening up further educational cooperation among others on student exchanges and joint study programs as well as undergraduate higher education.
