Account of Prophet’s Mosque aims to enrich the religious experience and maximize scientific learning in the Two Holy Mosques by leveraging technology, and experiencing what Allah has made for them with great value and a great place in the hearts of Muslims.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Head of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abd al-Rahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, inaugurated account of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and account of Prophet’s Mosque on the social networking platform ’X’.
“In the name and with the blessing of God, we launch the account of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Unified Prophet’s Mosque on the social media platform ‘Twitter’, Al-Sudais said as quoted by Faheem H. Alhamid, the President of the Saudi Arabian Islamic Communication Center, in a short service message received by Indonesia Window on Friday.
“May God Almighty give a success in broadcasting the moderate religious message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world and to grant a success to our wise leadership, and may God preserve it, for its unparalleled support for the Presidency of the Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques,” he added.
He further said that the message of the religious affairs of the Two Holy Mosques is focused on spreading the values of tolerance, moderation, fraternity, maximizing the journey of faith, and enriching the experience of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and religious destinations.
According to him, the presidency aims to enrich the religious experience and maximize scientific lessons in the Two Holy Mosques by harnessing technology, and sensing what God has made for them of great value and a great position in the hearts of the Islamic nation.
Saudi Arabia’s cabinet on Aug. 7 approved the establishment of an independent body called the ‘Presidency of Religious Affairs in the two holy mosques, the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque’ linked to King Salman.
Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais was appointed head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque by royal order.
The agency is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the imams and muezzins of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque as well as all matters related to their religious affairs including Islamic seminars and lessons, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
