Denpasar Immigration Office has deported two foreigners identified as SS (20) with a Russian nationality and JDA (47) with an Australian nationality, who have violated regulations in Indonesia.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Denpasar Immigration Office continues to intensify supervision and strict action against foreigners who violate regulations that apply while in Bali.Denpasar Immigration Office has deported two foreigners identified as SS (20) with a Russian nationality and JDA (47) with an Australian nationality, who have violated regulations in Indonesia, head of the Denpasar Immigration Office Tedy Riyandi said in a written statement as quoted by Indonesia Window on Wednesday.SS who was found to have activities as a stand-up comedy artist was arrested at a stand-up comedy event located in Denpasar on March 8, 2023, Tedy revealed, adding that SS is the holder of a Socio-Cultural Visit Stay Permit valid until May 5, 2023.The arrest entered Indonesia via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on March 7, 2023."Based on the results of the investigation, it was proven that SS was active as a standup comedy artist at a paid event held at the Reverside Convention Center. For his actions, we give him immigration administrative action for activities not in accordance with the stay permit,” Tedy disclosed.Meanwhile, JDA who holds a visit stay permit valid until May 17, 2023 is the overflow of Bali Regional Police, Directorate of Drug Investigation.JDA was found to have 99 white tablets containing narcotics class I /type dexamphetamine.The names of the two foreigners who are subject to Article 75 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning immigration have been added to the blacklist.Reporting by Indonesia WindowBagikan
