Golden generation of Islam is a generation that can compete in the era of globalization. That is the aim of building the Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School.

Bogor, W. Java (Indonesia Window) – Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School is a modern Islamic boarding school that highly upholds the development of Islam in the era of globalization, and has the intention to form a golden generation of Islam, that is ready to compete with other people without having to set aside Islamic religious law.

Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School, which is ready to produce a golden generation of Indonesian Islam, held a meeting of parents of students in grades 9 and 12 to explain the new programs at the boarding school on Saturday (Sept. 17) at the Nidaul Islam Mosque in the Islamic boarding school complex, in Indonesia’s Depok city.

In his speech, Mudir Banin (Director for Male Students), Ustadz (teacher) Ryan hoped that guardians of santris (students) and the santris (students) would not be confused about continuing their education, Al-Wafi has been preparing everything discussions and preparations for continuing to high learning levels.

The next speech was delivered by Ustadz Muhammad Asadullah as Mudir Banat (Director for Female Students). “Grade 12 is the phase where students have to be able to choose their own future, because in this phase they cannot not return to the one in the past and have to continue to move forward,” Ustadz Asadullah said.

The event continued with directives from the leader of the Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School, Dr.KH. Ali Saman Hassan, Lc., who explained his views on the development of Muslims in the era of globalization, where Islamic civilization is starting to fade and this makes Ustadz Ali want to educate a brilliant generation of Muslims, which he calls the ‘Golden Generation of Islam’.

“The golden generation is the generation of Tauhid (the oneness of Allah), a generation that is educated to worship Allah and is expected to become ihsan kaamil (perfect humans), namely humans who carry out all the things that are obligatory and sunnah (what is taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and abandon all warnings and prohibitions, so that they are not affected by the development of globalization” Ustadz Ali pointed out.

Al-Wafi has educational levels from elementary school to college of a doctoral program as a first step in creating a golden generation of Islam, which is the aim of building the Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School.

Al-Wafi also inaugurated an alumni association which is a concrete step that the Islamic boarding school likewise continues to monitor the development of alumni until they are successful.

In addition, Al-Wafi has various new programs such as Umrah Dauroh, where students can perform Umrah and at the same time experience a Dauroh (learning) class on campuses in Saudi Arabia.

Student mapping is also carried out in the context of future guidance, so that students can find out their interests and talents in the hope that they would not choose wrong faculties in the future.

The Islamic boarding school likewise has Al-Wafi Intrepreneur which is the core program for the future in an effort to create a golden generation of Islam, a generation that can compete in the era of globalization.

This program is a practical program for Al-Wafi students in building a direct business which will be accommodated by Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School.

The event continued with the presentation of materials from Al-Wafi’s BEKAL Bureau which focuses on efforts to direct the continuation of Al-Wafi students in universities both in Indonesia and abroad.
