Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The number of recipients of complete vaccinations (two doses) against COVID-19 in Indonesia as of Tuesday (Oct. 26) reached 69.13 million, according to data from the COVID-19 task force.

Data received here, Tuesday, showed that the number of people who had been injected with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccines as of Tuesday (Oct. 26) increased by 866,113, making the total number to 69,130,122 people.

Meanwhile, the number of recipients of the first doses of vaccines recorded on the same day was 922,722 people, bringing the total number of recipients to 114,347,101 people.

Meanwhile, 2,899 people have received the third doses, bringing the total number of recipients to 1,110,323.

The Indonesian government plans to vaccinate as many as 208,265,720 people to achieve herd immunity in the fourth-populated country in the world.

Thus, the first shots of the COVID-19 vaccines have been given to 54.90 percent of the total targets, while 33.19 percent of the targets have done complete vaccinations.

The government expected that the national vaccinations of 70 percent of the population would be achieved by the end of 2021 in order to achieve herd immunity against the novel coronavirus disease.
