The graduation procession was led directly by the Rector of UIA, Prof. DR H Masduki Ahmad SH, MM. In his remarks, Masduki said that this graduation process was not the end of the graduates’ learning period, but the beginning of real life learning.

“In the world that is changing rapidly, the world which is full of uncertainty, the graduates are required to anticipate quickly in an effort to survive, by making wider networks, building cooperation, in a bid to to develop themselves,” Masduki said.

Innovation and collaboration are keys to the future, he said, hoping that the graduates would build collaboration and continue to innovate to build the nation and state.

By quoting the mandate of the previous rector, late DR. Tutty Alawiyah MA, who is also the mother of Prof. Dailami, Masduki stated that nation building must be preceded by character building.
