Indonesia, UAE agree to strengthen cooperation in various sectors

The United Arab Emirates and Indonesia have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors including MoU between Indonesia’s Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and Abu Dhabi-based private real estate investment and development company Eagle Hills on the Tourism Ecosystem Improvement through Cooperation with Assets of State-Owned Enterprises in Airport and Logistics, Hospitality, and Tourism Sectors.

 

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed on significant bilateral cooperation in various sectors, according to information from the former’s Cabinet Secretariat quoted by Indonesia Window here, Friday.

The agreements, announced Wednesday (July 7) during the bilateral meeting between Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo and UAE’s President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) at Qasr al Watan in Abu Dhabi, are as follows:

MoU between Indonesia’s Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises and Abu Dhabi-based private real estate investment and development comphttps://indonesiawindow.com/en/president-joko-widodo-invites-japan-to-participate-in-indonesias-sovereign-wealth-fund/any Eagle Hills on the Tourism Ecosystem Improvement through Cooperation with Assets of State-Owned Enterprises in Airport and Logistics, Hospitality, and Tourism Sectors.

MoU between the international financial hub Dubai International Financial Centre Authority and Indonesia’s Nusantara National Capital Authority.

MoU between the telecommunication and ICT service provider PT Indonesia Comnets Plus and the renewable energy company Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC-Masdar on the Joint Study of Solar Shingles in Indonesia.

MoU between the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company and Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) on the Cooperation on Nuclear Power Plant to Support the Nuclear Program in the UAE and Indonesia.

MoU between the philanthropic endowment Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund and Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment on the Construction Project of the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed – Joko Widodo International Mangrove Research Center in Bali, Indonesia.

MoU between Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance of the UAE on Public Finance Management.

MoU between the Central Bank of Indonesia and the Central Bank of the UAE on Payment System Cooperation.

MoU on Defense Sector on the Maritime Patrol Aircraft and the Anti-Submarine Warfare.
