Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman (MBS) acknowledges and places a high hope on Indonesia’s large economy, an Indonesian ambassador has said.
“MBS has a high hope on Indonesia’s large economy. This is what I heard when accompanying the President in a meeting some time ago,” Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Agus Maftuh Abegebriel stated in a short service message received by Indonesia Window here on Tuesday.
According to Ambassador Agus Maftuh, currently the Governments of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia are on negotiations to strengthen the economic diplomacy of the two countries.
“We are focusing on efforts to follow up on the meeting between President Joko Widodo and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman regarding the strengthening of the economy and investment in the two countries,” he explained.
Earlier, on Monday (Nov 25) Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Indonesia Esam A Abid Althagafi met the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Human Rights Affairs, Mahfud Md, to discuss bilateral cooperation.
According to Ambassador Esam, he has discussed cooperation between Saudi Arabia on different matters with Indonesia including plans to hold a conference in Jakarta and invite Saudi people to visit Jakarta and other cities in Indonesia, according to national mass media.
