Supporting unrest in Iran, including by using social media robots, the political leaders of the U.S., Israel’s zionist regime, and parts of Europe along with their mainstream media, abused the tragic incident of Mahsa Amini which has been under investigation by Iranian authorities.

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The death of Mahsa Amini – a 22-year-old woman who was detained earlier this month in the capital of Tehran by Iran’s ‘morality police’ for allegedly not following the country’s dress code – has been used as a pretext by Westerners seeking to meddle in internal affairs of Iran.

“The recent riots in Iran using the pretext of Mahsa Amini’s death were used by the enemies to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and trigger more unrest,” Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Khoush Heikal Azad told journalists here on Wednesday evening (Oct. 19).

The ambassador said, supporting unrest in the country, including by using social media robots to create viral news, the political leaders of the U.S., the zionist regime of Israel, and parts of Europe along with their mainstream media abused the tragic incident that has been investigated by the Iranian authorities,

“In fact, millions of Iranians have appeared on the streets to support their country and oppose to the recent chaos,” Ambassador Azad said, regretting that stories like these were not captured by mainstream news.

In his statement, the Iranian Ambassador also said, “Regarding the developments taking place in Iran, we must be able to distinguish between peaceful actions and demonstrations and riots that create insecurity in the country.”

“According to the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran, various peaceful actions and the expression of aspirations through demonstrations is legalized and various sections of society can exercise these rights. But the Islamic Republic of Iran like any other country in the world cannot allow unrest and chaos to be created by a handful of people who are provoked by the West and the zionist regime of Israel,” he stressed.

“The enemy is trying to make Iran, like Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan, trapped in wars, but thanks to the alertness and vigilance of the people of our country, they have failed to achieve their evil goals,” the Ambassador added.

Ambassador Azad emphasized that an independent investigation and deepening of Mahsa Amini’s death has been carried out by a joint forensic police team as well as several senior doctors and experts from various fields.

On Oct. 7, 2022, the Iranian Forensic Medicine Organization explained the cause of Amini’s death by issuing a statement.

“In the statement it was stated that the death was not caused by a blow to the head or vital organs and limbs, but the late Mahsa Amini died due to cerebral hypoxia, sudden heart rhythm disturbances, decreased blood pressure and loss of consciousness, and lack of oxygen to the brain,” Ambassador Azad explained.
