Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 rocked Jember district, East Java province, on Tuesday, at 01:07:48 p.m. local time.
Data from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the earthquake occurred at latitude -10.75 and longitude 113.42, with a depth of 10 kilometers, 284 kilometers southwest of Jember.
The tectonic earthquake has no potential for any tsunami, the BMKG tweeted via its Twitter account @infoBMKG, on Tuesday.
