Jakarta (ANTARA) – The total number of full-dose vaccine recipients in Indonesia as of Wednesday (Dec. 8) has reached 100.459.272 people, or 49 percent of the total target of 208.2 million people.
An official data from Our World in Data on December 6 showed that Indonesia was in the fifth for full-dose COVID-19 vaccination after China, India, the United States and Brazil.
The Ministry of Health expected that complete vaccination for 208.2 million people would be achieved by March or April 2022.
Meanwhile, the injection of the first doses has so far covered more than 143.794.042 people or 70 percent of the 208.2 million target to be achieved by the end of January 2022.
Data obtained from the ministry also showed that the third dose vaccination has covered 1,250,506 people.
A complete dose vaccination is a requirement for international travelers to and from Indonesia.
