Vice President delivers Indonesia’s Vision 2045 when chairing a UN session

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Vice President Jusuf Kalla delivered Indonesia’s Vision 2045 when chairing a session of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Summit at the United Nations Headquarters (UN), New York, United States on Wednesday ( 9/25).

The vice president led the Leaders’ Dialogue forum on Vision 2030 with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Malta, the Government News Network (JPP) reported as quoted in Jakarta on Thursday.

The dialogue session discussed the vision of the Heads of State / Government in accelerating the achievement of the last 10 years towards 2030.

Indonesia’s Vision 2045 focuses on four main pillars, namely, human resource development, sustainable economic growth, equitable development, and strengthening governance.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York , Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani, said, “the election of the Indonesian Vice President to lead the session on the Vision 2030 is inseparable from Indonesia’s reputation as a country that has carried out commitments to implement SDGs and at the same time has a vision to accelerate development goals globally”.
