Taiwan Intense Program helps Indonesian students study professional science

Taiwan Intense Program aims to help Indonesian students study areas of professional science that the workplace needs, such as pharmacy, engineering, math, finance, and semiconductor.

 

Bogor, W Java (Indonesia Window) – After opening the International Talent Circulation Base (INTACT Base) in Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta in December last year, the Ministry of Education (MOE) organized an educational exhibition named ‘Taiwan Intense Program’ at Pullman Jakarta Central Park, on March 19, 2024.

The head of Taipei Economic and Trade Office (TETO) in Jakarta, John Chen, explained the Taiwan Intense Program aimed to help Indonesian students study areas of professional science that the workplace needs, such as pharmacy, engineering, math, finance, and semiconductor.

A press release from TETO received here on Sunday, explained that INTACT Base has signed a cooperation agreement with 34 Indonesian higher education institutions.

INTACT Base signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with at least 37 universities in Indonesia at the ‘Taiwan Intense Program 2024’ education exhibition at the Pullman Hotel Central Park, Jakarta, on March 19, 2024. (TETO)

On the day of the exhibition, three Indonesian universities signed a cooperation agreement with INTACT Base. After Jakarta, the exhibition was also held in, East Java province’s capital of Surabaya, on March 21.

Thanks to cooperation between 25 colleges and 112 Taiwanese companies, this year MOE granted operating permits to 48 programs.

This exhibition is expected to intensify Taiwan-Indonesian education cooperation and exchange.
