According to him, the 3rd national MHQH was very special because it was supported by the Embassy of the Saudi Arabia Kingdom in Jakarta, and accompanied by the Religious and Educational Attaché, Dr. Ahmad bin Isa Al-Hazimi. “He was very enthusiastic about holding this activity,” Dr. Ali Saman said.

He explained that the 3rd national level MHQH was attended by students from a number of Islamic boarding schools, which are members of the Association of Indonesian Islamic Da’wah and Education Institutions (PULDAPII). “There are already 107 members in this organization, and currently heading towards 200 members.”

Ali further said MHQH, which is the annual agenda of Al-Wafi Islamic Boarding School, would be held again on February 18, 2025 or 20 Shaban 1446 Hijri, with more varied categories than before.

The competition categories that are planned to be competed in at MHQH 2025 are interpretation of the Quran, debates in Arabic and English, reading the Islamic classic book, and writing papers on the Quran.

“The winners from the national MHQH will enter the network of universities in Saudi Arabia,” he said.

Dr. Ali Saman expected that MHQH become a way to establish the Quran as a way and guide to life for Muslims, with the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a role model for all Muslims.
