Light Art VR seeks Indonesian partners at Halal Expo to explore Islamic histories with VR technology
Light Art VR uses virtual reality technology to watch Islamic stories such as the holy city of Makkah, the stories of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), as well as the story of Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ migration (hijra) from Makkah to Madinah.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Light Art VR, a U.S. company providing Islamic entertainment using virtual reality technology, is seeking for partners/franchises in Indonesia.
This was stated by Light Art VR’s Co-Founder Faheem Aref on the sidelines of the Halal Expo Indonesia (HEI) 2023 here on Friday (Oct. 27).
Applying VR technology, this company offers special experiences for visitors to watch Islamic stories such as Makkah city, the stories of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), as well as the story of Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ migration (hijra) from Makkah to Madinah, with 8K resolution in various languages.
“With VR technology, not only can people experience being at Islam’s holy sites, but also take them back to the prophetic era 1400 years ago,” Faheem explained.
Users, he added, could feel every movement, smell the aroma of the holy Kaaba (a sanctified building where Muslims face when praying, located in Makkah), and feel the wind and its movement.
“For Muslims, this is a breakthrough to compensate the longing of those who have never been in the Holy Land and other historical places,” Faheem said.
Through the HEI, Light Art VR offers a promotional price of 785 million rupiahs (around 49,337 U.S. dollars) for 1 stall, which includes four motion chairs and two non-motion VR headsets.
Later, partners or franchise managers are allowed to open a VR stall measuring 4×4 meters in malls or in crowded areas.
“Partners do not need to pay up front for Light Art VR products, but only pay a royalty fee of 25 percent of tickets sold,” Faheem pointed out.
Halal Expo Indonesia features a series of conference and business matching activities.
The largest Business to Business and Business to Consumer exhibition in Indonesia which is taking place on October 25-29 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), is an event to facilitate businesspeople to enter the international market.
