Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques provided half a million liters of Zamzam water to fasting people in Makkah’s Grand Mosque, Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday (Apr. 4).
Director of the Zamzam Watering Department Abdul Rahman Al-Zahrani noted that more than half a million liters of Zamzam water were available for those fasting in the Grand Mosque, in addition to 100,000 Zamzam water bottles and 13,000 containers with a capacity of 40 liters in the Grand Mosque.
In addition, the presidency on Monday (Apr. 4) also distributed 160,000 bottles of Zamzam water in Madinah’s Prophet’s Mosque, as well as provided 14,000 containers of Zamzam water throughout the mosque’s various areas and squares.
This was done through eight filling points to facilitate worshippers access to water distribution points, as well as providing 1,200 drinking fountains in the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque.
