Bogor, W Java (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia, through the state-owned vaccine manufacturer Bio Farma, will receive 25 million doses of vaccine against COVID-19 from China's Sinovac under a bilateral cooperation scheme until the end of August 2021.

Earlier, on August 13, 2021 and August 16, 2021, Bio Farma received Sinovac vaccines of five million doses each, said Bio Farma’s Corporate Secretary Bambang Heriyanto in a written statement received here on Friday.

Therefore, since the beginning of the pandemic, the number of ready-to-use vaccines from Sinovac that have been received by Indonesia has reached 15 million doses, out of 25 million doses to be received in total by Bio Farma.

"The next arrival is planned on August 23, 2021 and August 27, 2021, each with five million doses, so that until the end of August 2021, 25 million doses will be received," said Bambang.
