Al Wafi Boarding School introduces Bogor Robusta coffee at Trade EXPO Indonesia

Al Wafi Boarding School, especially its Coffeepreneur Community, also introduced the CORI (Coffee Santri) coffee shop, at the Coffee Zone Booth at the Trade EXPO at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), in Indonesia’s Tangerang city, Banten province.

 

Bogor, West Java (Indonesia Window) –  Al Wafi Boarding School introduced Bogor Robusta coffee at Trade EXPO Indonesia at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, in Indonesia’s Tangerang city, Banten province, on October 18 – 22.

On the occasion, Al Wafi Boarding School, especially its Coffeepreneur Community, also introduced the CORI (Coffee Santri) coffee shop, in the Booth Coffee Zone.

In addition to the CORI coffee shop, there are several MSMEs (micro, small and medium entrepreneurs) as well as coffee farmers who have exported their products, such as Belbuk$, which offers such Gayo coffee variants as grean bean, robusta, pea berry, roasted ben, wild luwak (civet) coffee, arabica coffee and Gayo wine coffee.

The Trade Expo Indonesia is very beneficial for MSMEs, as the organizing committee did not only display their products but also introduced them to foreign buyers who visited the event.

Al Wafi’s vision

The vision of Al Wafi Islamic Bording School is ‘To form a generation of Muslims who have high religious awareness and a positive attitude towards globalization by following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu alaihi wasallam, his companions, and the ahlusunnah wal jama’ah scholars’.

This Islamic boarding school also has several programs, including activities to improve life skills by facilitating Coffeepreneur extracurricular activities.

Coffeepreneur is an entrepreneurial activity in the coffee business that teaches students who wish to become entrepreneurs, especially in the coffee business under the guidance of Suworo, S.Si.M.M. and Taufik Hidayat, S.H., dealing with a collaboration business at the Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School’s Business Development Center in Bogor city and Depok city, both in Indonesia’s West Java province.

Boarding at Al Wafi Islamic Boarding School is more enjoyable with several facilities such as a swimming pool, arena for martial arts activities, futsal field, horse riding and coding activities,” Taufik said.
