A Museum of Israeli Genocide aims to remind the international community of Israel’s cruelty and barbarism against the Palestinians.

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – As-Syafi’iyah Islamic University (UIA) will establish a a Museum of Israeli Genocide which aims to remind the international community of the Zionist’s cruelty and barbarity against the Palestinians.

The Chairman of the As Syafi’iyah Islamic Higher Education Foundation (YAPTA), Prof. DR. H. Dailami Firdaus, made the remarks at the opening of an international seminar on Palestine under the theme ‘Al-Aqsa: A Symbol of Resistance and Identity of the Palestinian Struggle Against Imperialism’, at the AMC Auditorium Campus II of UIA, East Jakarta, Wednesday (May 15).

“UIA is ready to establish the Israeli Genocide Museum to remind us all how cruel the massacres carried out by Zionist against the Palestinian people,” said Prof. Dailami who is also an Indonesian senator from Jakarta.

He explained that the establishment of the Israeli Genocide Museum was not only a reminder, but also a study material to help the Palestinian people gain their independence.

“Not only is fighting the Israeli occupation the responsibility of the Palestinian people but is also the struggle of all Muslims to reclaim the holy city of Jerusalem,” he added.

Meanwhile, Director of The Baitul Maqdis Institute KH Fahmi Salim Lc. said that so far what the international community has done to help the Palestinian people’s struggle has only been limited to demonstrations, fundraising and social assistance. “It is nothing with intellectual brilliance yet.”

“Well, we (The Baitul Maqdis Institute) want to complement this struggle with intellectual struggle. Remember, when Salahuddin Al Ayyubi liberated Jerusalem, he said that the struggle was not just with weapons, but through intellectual struggle by the Muslim Ummah,” he noted.
