Jakarta (Indonesia Window) - Aramco's oil supply has recovered following damage to the Saudi oil company's facilities after the attack on Saturday (Sep 14).

"Today we celebrate that Saudi Arabia within three days has succeeded in fulfilling oil supplies. We have defeated the aggressors," said the President of the Islamic Communication Center of Saudi Arabia, Faheem H. Alhamid, in a statement via short message received by Indonesia Window here, Wednesday.

The attack that occurred before dawn on Saturday (Sep 14) knocked down more than half of crude oil production from the major world exporters or as much as five percent of global oil supplies, and cut its production of 5.7 million barrels per day.

Yemeni Houthi rebels, who have fought a war with the Saudi-led coalition since 2015, claimed responsibility for the attacks in Abqaiq and Khurais, and warned Saudi Arabia that their targets "will keep expanding".

However, the Saudi Arabian government stressed that Iran was also behind the attack.

"Tomorrow there will be a press conference from the defense minister that will reveal that Iran is behind this with evidence," Faheem said.
