
Algeria wins 5 awards at International Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Competition for Children in Jakarta

The Codeavour 7.0 Global Competition for Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Robotics for Children, held at Binus University in Jakarta, Indonesia, saw the participation of more than 300,000 young people from 70 countries, according to the organizers.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Algeria won five awards at the International Competition for Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Robotics for Children held in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
The awards include the Girls in Science and Technology Award, the Encouragement Award in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge, the Encouragement Award in the Robot Soccer Challenge, the Excellence Award for Best Robot Design—5th place globally in the Robot Soccer Challenge, and the Excellence Award for Best Robot Design—6th place globally in the Robot Soccer Challenge.
In his congratulatory remarks on the occasion, Noureddine Wadah, Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises, stated that “this new achievement is nothing less than a testament to our young people’s ability to excel and take the lead at the highest levels, particularly in the fields of innovation and technology”.
He also praised “the outstanding work carried out by the startup Aljazari Robotics—the national organizer of this competition—in mentoring and guiding young people, which contributed to achieving these commendable results at this global event”.
It is worth noting that the Codeavour 7.0 Global Competition for Artificial Intelligence, Programming, and Robotics for Children, held at Binus University in Jakarta, Indonesia, saw the participation of more than 300,000 young people from 70 countries, according to the organizers.
