
Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneur Community offers mentoring to increase MSME business scale

The mentoring program for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) aims to increase the scale of business in various aspects, including production, marketing and financial management.
Bogor, West Java (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneur Community’s Chapter in Bogor district, West Java province, is offering a mentoring program for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) wishing to increase the scale of their businesses, during the Muslim LifeFair (Mufair) in Bogor, on 27-29 June 2025.“This mentoring program aims to increase the business scale of MSMEs, including that on legality of business entities, improving business skills, business management, business financial management, as well as increasing production and marketing of products and businesses,” the chairperson of the community’s Bogor chapter, Nanang Suriyana, said here, Friday.Nanang pointed out that the mentoring program is intended for MSMEs engaged in various business fields, both goods and services, especially those in Bogor district."Basically, the scaling-up steps for each type of business are the same. It is hoped that during this program, within three months, business players would be able to get the expected results," he added.In addition to the mentoring program, the community also opens up business investment opportunities, expands networks among entrepreneurs, increases market share, and other opportunities that benefit business players.Mufair at Vivo Mall in Bogor is the second series this year, after being held in Bekasi, West Java, last February. This event is also the second held in Bogor, after in 2024 which attracted more than 20,000 visitors and more than 100 participant booths for three days, he noted."We hope that this year's Mufair would also be visited by more than 20,000 visitors, or even more, because this year it coincides with school holidays so that all family members can enjoy the various programs offered," said Nanang, who is also a cargo entrepreneur, BAM Cargo.The role of MSMEs as the backbone of the Indonesian economy is shown by their contribution of more than 60 percent in the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and absorbing almost 97 percent of the workforce.
