Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Dr. Mohammad Hasan Sheikholeslami, who is also the president of the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), confirmed that Israel was responsible for the attack that killed Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on July 31.Regarding the issue that Iran had been infiltrated by Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister stated, "The presence of Mossad in other countries is not commonplace, or rarely encountered.""Regarding the Mossad infiltration attempt, institutions in Iran are conducting an investigation that is currently still ongoing," the president of IPIS said at a media gathering here on Tuesday (Aug. 13) evening. He explained that Iranian security experts have collected data on the methods and approaches used by the terrorists, so that it can be concluded who was behind the deadly attack in Tehran at the end of July."We are still investigating it, so we cannot yet reveal the results of the investigation," Dr. Sheikholeslami said, but emphasized that "the zionist is 100 percent responsible for this incident, while the United States supports the zionist."According to him, the death of Ismail Haniyeh, who was in Tehran at the time of the attack to attend the inauguration of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, is a deep sorrow for all the Iranian people."This cowardly terror has saddened the Iranian people and demanded a retaliation for the attack," Dr. Sheikholeslami underscored, while reminding that "this is not the first time the zionist has carried out terror. Using illegal methods has become a habit of the zionist regime. We also witnessed the terror that occurred in the axis of resistance in Lebanon and Syria."He stressed that the deadly Israeli attack will definitely be responded to by Iran according to the directive and guidance of Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei."Our response is absolute and certain. When, how, and where the response will be, will be decided by the supreme leader of Iran," he said, adding that the Israeli attack on the capital Tehran that killed Haniyeh has prompted Iran to increase its national defense and protection capabilities. On the other hand, he continued, Iran has launched a number of operations by revolutionary groups that have succeeded in attacking the heart of Tel Aviv. The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister said that his party continues to pay attention to the movements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who always tries to stop ceasefire efforts from any party."This child-killing regime is trying to stop the ceasefire because if this happens then this will be the end of Netanyahu, and the beginning of the trial against him," he expounded.Reporting by Indonesia WindowBagikan
