Eid al-Adha 1446H – Al Ghozy Muslimah Center (AMC) in Indonesia’s Bogor City sacrifices 22 cows, distributes 1.5 tons of sacrificial meat

The sacrificial animal slaughtering activity of Al Ghozy Muslimah Center was held in collaboration with the Technical Implementation Unit of the Bubulak Slaughterhouse in Indonesia’s Bogor City, West Java province.
Bogor, W Java (Indonesia Window) – The Al Ghozy Muslimah Center (AMC) Foundation in Indonesia’s Bogor City, West Java province has distributed 1.5 tons of sacrificial meat on Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri/2025 AD, obtained from the slaughters of 22 cows carried out on Sunday (June 8).
The sacrificial animal slaughtering activity was held in collaboration with the Technical Implementation Unit of the Bubulak Slaughterhouse in Bogor City.
The Chairperson of the Committee for Qurban (Sacrifice) of the AMC 1446 Hijri, Milka Malia, stated that the qurban meat was not only given to those who do the sacrifice (qurban) but also distributed to Tahsin Al Ghozy teachers, tahsin participants in need, Al-Quran teachers in Bogor and its surroundings, and Islamic boarding schools recommended by Tahsin Al Ghozy teachers.
The slaughtering and distribution of qurban animals carried out by the AMC Religious Division is an annual activity carried out every Eid al-Adha.
This activity is supported by the entire Tahsin Al Ghozy community, both teachers and participants.
A total of 154 people have participated this year as ‘ahlul qurban’ (those who do the sacrifice) in order to carry out religious orders and as a message of Islam to the community, especially in Bogor and its surroundings.

Nenden, an active participant of Tahsin Al Ghozy who is also one of the recipients of sacrificial meat, said, “I am very happy because I always get sacrificial meat from the place where I study the Quran. In addition to being a place to seek knowledge of the Quran, at Tahsin Al Ghozy I also get a community that can help upgrade myself as a housewife”.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of the Al Ghozy Muslimah Center Foundation, Ririe Rizal, hoped that the activity can continue every year and provide wider benefits to all Quran teachers and students, especially in Bogor and its surroundings.
Ririe further said, in addition to the slaughtering and distribution of sacrificial meat, there are many other activities organized by the AMC Foundation.
The foundation whose members are women has several divisions, namely the Education Division with the sub-divisions of Tahsin Al Ghozy (TAG) and Lecture of Quran Teachers plus (KPQ+); Religious Division (sub-division of Waqf, Zakat Maal, Qurban and Ta’lim); Economic & Business Division (sub division of AMC Mart, Muslim Entrepreneur Community); Social Division (sub division of social services); Women’s Welfare Division (sub Division of Welfare and Legal Protection) and Public Relations & Media Development Division.
Currently, Tahsin Al Ghozy has 12 branches of learning activities spread across Bogor, both offline and online.
This year, Tahsin Al Ghozy education branches were opened at the UIKA Mosque (Ibnu Khaldun University), Al Ghifari IPB (Bogor Institute of Agriculture) Mosque, and Al Hikmah Cimanggu Mosque, Bogor city.
With its the Quran education activities, the AMC Foundation hopes to provide the widest possible benefits for Muslim women throughout Indonesia, even those abroad, thus contributing to efforts to eradicate the Quran illiteracy.
