News Focus – Indonesia Travel Fair 2023 appreciated for encouraging domestic tourist travels

Indonesia Travel Fair 2023 which will take place on Feb. 17-19, 2023, in Jakarta, is supported by the Indonesian National Airline Association (INACA) in collaboration with RajaMICE and the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) and state bank BNI as a bank partner.

 

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, has appreciated the holding of Indonesia Travel Fair 2023.

The event is expected to further encourage the movement of domestic tourists under the program of Bangga Berwisata di Indonesia (Proud to Tour in Indonesia so that it can strengthen the target of achieving this year’s domestic tourists of 1.4 billion, Sandiaga said in his written statement on Tuesday.

According to the minister, Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo had previously given directives and invited the Indonesian people to succeed in the program as an effort to improve the performance of the country’s tourism industry and creative economy.

For this reason, the minister appreciated the active role of the industry in holding the Indonesia Travel Fair which is entering its 20th time, and expected that the event would boost domestic tourist travels.

“We hope that this collaboration in supporting the program can strengthen the achievement of the target of 1.4 billion domestic tourists this year. The movement of tourists would have an economic impact on the people and micro, small and medium enterprises,” he said.

Indonesia Travel Fair 2023 which will take place on Feb. 17-19, 2023, in Jakarta is supported by the Indonesian National Airline Association (INACA) in collaboration with RajaMICE and the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) and state bank BNI as a partner bank.

The event, which is highlighted with various attractive offer programs, is expected to be an effective means of promotion for the people.

The Chairperson of INACA, Denon Prawiraatmadja, explained that some of the attractive offer programs include special prices for flight tickets, not only from scheduled airlines, but also from non-scheduled ones.

“These airlines will later offer tickets at special prices for non-scheduled flights, both for corporations and for individuals using fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft (helicopters),” Denon said.

Vice Chairman of INACA, Arif Wibowo, pointed out that INACA member airlines will provide better special ticket prices to visitors compared to other travel fairs.

In addition, there will also be gimmicks in the form of merchandises, lucky draws, door prizes, and free tickets for visitors which will be given at certain activities, such as during talk shows on the sidelines of the travel fair.
