Indonesia appreciates the good relations and defense cooperation that has been built with Morocco based on three pillars, namely building mutual trust, increasing defense capacity and encouraging the independence of the defense industry.
Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – Indonesian Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto has hoped that defense relations between Indonesia and Morocco can be strengthened in the future.
The hope was conveyed by Defense Minister Prabowo when receiving Moroccan Ambassador to Indonesia Ouadia Benabdellah in Jakarta on Friday (July 29), according to a written statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Defense received here on Saturday.
On that occasion, Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Moroccan Ambassador to Indonesia and the defense cooperation that has been built with the country in the North African region.
According to Prabowo, Indonesia appreciates the good relations and defense cooperation that has been built with Morocco based on three pillars, namely building mutual trust, increasing defense capacity and encouraging the independence of the defense industry.
“Therefore, I hope that the defense relations between the two countries can be enhanced in the future,” the minister stated.
Carrying a mission of close friendship and brotherhood from his home country which is located on the African continent, the Moroccan Ambassador hoped that this meeting could further strengthen the Indonesia-Morocco diplomatic relations towards a more strategic direction in the defense and security sector, especially in the defense industry.
