GAZA (Majelis Gerakan Akhir Zaman) organized a strategic forum in an effort to build collective awareness among Muslims regarding the direction of global civilization entering a critical phase.

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – In an effort to build collective awareness among Muslims regarding the direction of global civilization entering a critical phase, Majelis Gerakan Akhir Zaman (literally means the council for the movement of the end of the age) or GAZA organized a strategic forum.

The event orgazined by GAZA took place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Hall of Pondok Pesantren Luhur Al-Tsagafah in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

This forum revisited the prophetic heritage in the form of mubasyirat—authentic true (divine) dreams—as strategic guidance amidst the current multidimensional global crises: moral, social, political, environmental, and spiritual.

Three prominent figures served as speakers at the forum. They were Prof. Dr. K.H. Said Aqil Siroj, M.A., an expert in Islamic history and former Chairman of PBNU (Nahdlatul Ulama) for the of 2010–2021, Prof. Dr. KH. Abdul Wahid Maktub (Gus Wahid), an academician at President University and former Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar (2003–2007), KH. Wahfiudin Sakam, S.E., M.B.A., an economist and Islamic spiritual practitioner and DR. Imam Addaruqutni as a moderator.

In his presentation, Prof. Dr. K.H. Said Aqil Siroj stated that Allah ﷻ may give guidance through divine dreams or mubasyirat to whomever He will, and therefore no one should belittle such experiences—especially when they appear in the end times.

“Dreams are not 100 percent accurate, but dreams received by righteous individuals with no personal interest are called Ruqyah Shodiqoh, which represent 1/46th of prophethood,” Said Aqil said after speaking at the forum held at the Luhur Al Tsaqafah Islamic Boarding School in Jakarta.

Said Aqil explained that there are three types of dreams: those that are mere figments of the imagination, those driven by personal desires, and those that originate from Allah ﷻ and are given to whomever He chooses.

According to him, when a person sleeps, the small soul within them unites with the greater universal soul, making it easier for the universal soul—the Creator—to guide and influence it.

He expressed appreciation for GAZA for organizing a dialogue on a relatively new topic—mubasyirat, especially in relation to the end times.

“This is a high-level discussion that cannot be easily understood by the general public,” he said.

A similar sentiment was expressed by another speaker, KH Abdul Wahid Maktub (also known as Gus Wahid), who stated that discussing mubasyirat requires the highest level of thinking because it involves predictions and managing the future.

“The best learning about the future can all be found in the Quran,” said the President University lecturer in Bekasi, West Java.

However, the former Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar explained that the world today is in need of a new civilization, as all scientific approaches have failed to resolve the multidimensional crises affecting nearly every part of the globe.

“All the old paradigms are no longer relevant, so a new vision and fresh ideas are needed. The ijtihadyah concept initiated by Kang Diki Candra through mubasyirat is a major initiative to address the distortions afflicting the world,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the GAZA Assembly, R. Diki Candra, said that the Majelis is currently collecting thousands of mubasyirat dreams from around the world—half of which have reportedly come true.

“When half of them turn out to be true, we begin to consider the possibility that the rest may also materialize, making this valuable intelligence information for the government,” he said.

He revealed that a small team will be formed to analyze the results of these mubasyirat, which will serve as important intelligence data for the government.

“Later, along with other prominent figures, the results of this study and analysis will be submitted to the government,” he added.

Some other speakers at the event, such as KH Wahfiuddin Sakam, SE, MBA—Deputy Chairman of the PBNU’s Commission on Education and Cadre Development, Ustadz Dede Hikayat, and moderator DR H. Imam Addaruqutni, MA—former Chairman of Muhammadiyah Youth, expressed the views that follow-up dialogues are needed to further explore the field of mubasyirat as part of building an Islamic civilization that can offer solutions to various global crises.

The main focus of this forum is to deeply explore the phenomenon of mubasyirat, namely divine dreams widely spread among the ummah (community), and to connect them with the dynamics of the end times and the potential for natural disasters that are increasingly believed by many.

More than just a scientific forum, this dialogue is a call from the inner conscience that invites us to unite our steps, harmonize our wisdom and policies in facing the increasingly complex and unpredictable global spiritual and geostrategic realities.

The collection of the ummah’s dreams are gathered, interpreted, and carefully studied to uncover the divine messages that must not be ignored because within them lies guidance, warnings, and even the divine strategy for humanity to survive, prepare, and rise amidst the currents of changing times.
