Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The Indonesian Medical Association on Saturday announced that a total of 342 medical workers in the country have died during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Of the number, 192 were general practitioners, 14 were dentists, and 136 were nurses.
The majority of the medical workers are from East Java province consisting of 39 general practitioners, two dentists, and 36 nurses, followed by Indonesia’s capital city of Jakarta with 31 doctors, five dentists, and 21 nurses, and North Sumatra province with 24 doctors and three nurses.
