Over 1,400 workers sterilize Prophet’s Mosque

Jakarta (Indonesia Window) – The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has mobilized 1,490 workers to clean and sterilize the Prophet’s Holy Mosque in Madinah and its courtyards for visitors and worshipers.

The intensified sterilization and disinfection operations throughout the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah were carried out after the dusty weather that Madinah region witnessed during the past days, Saudi Gazette reported.

The cleaning operations used 25 washing machines and equipment for the Prophet’s Mosque’s courtyards, in addition to 5 equipment to clean the mosque from the inside, while environmentally friendly detergents are intensively used to avoid the accumulation of dust.
